Pure Chlorine combines somber lyrics with EDM beats and an unerring sense of modern produced harmonies that balance between electronic and instrumental. On her first EP "sorry that I smashed your ego" (2022) Claudia Bruckner, as the artist is actually called, settles accounts with toxic relationships and false friendships that we all probably have to confront at some point in our lives. The fact that she is already being called the Austrian equivalent of Billie Eilish is a great compliment, but Pure Chlorine is already completely unmistakable with her sound, her ideas and her look.
