Agrawal holds a degree in business and communications from Cornell University and a business degree from Marianopolis College. She has founded several companies, amongs them Tushy and Thinx. Tushy sells bidets that attach to toilet seats, and Thinx makes period underwear that replaces tampons. Both companies aim to revolutionize long untapped markets, improve the quality of life, especially for women, while protecting the environment. Her main focus now is Tushy, having decided to leave Thinx due to controversy. She is also an author and board member at Conscious Capitalism and describes herself as a social entrepreneur who pursues social goals in addition to maximizing profits.
