Co-Organizer, Fridays for Future
Carla Reemtsma was born in Berlin in 1998. She organized the first school strike in Münster in January 2019 after being inspired by the viral speech of Greta Thunberg at the climate conference COP in Katowice, Poland. She was overwhelmed by the amount of people supporting the protests and continued planning and organizing youth-led climate strikes. As a spokesperson, she represents Fridays For Future in regional and national media and talk shows as well as at conferences and in front of political leaders. Next to her activism, she does acrobatic gymnastics and works as a coach.
